How do I choose a picture to use in the painting?
Choose a picture that represents them at their best. A photo with good lighting is always best (try to avoid harsh shadows). if you would like help choosing an image, send several and our artist will call you to discuss which would be best. You can send a digital image or you can mail a hard copy if that is easier. Email us to get our mailing address: speakmanportraits@gmail.com.
Do I get to see the painting before it is printed?
Yes. Our artist will email you a proof and await your response before printing the image on canvas.
How long is the typical turn-around time?
It typically takes about 1 week to create the digital painting. Once approved, it will take 2 weeks to print and mail it to you. Expedited printing and shipping are available upon request.
Can I have multiple people in my painting?
Yes you can! This offer is for just a single portrait, but you can add additional subjects—as many as you would like. You can do so after checkout (you'll be given an option to add subjects), or by emailing or calling the artist directly.
Can I have my painting printed on something other than canvas?
Yes! After placing your order you can respond to the email or call 602-770-0251 to request a different material. Additional costs may apply.
